Why I'm at Broadway

Why do my family and I come to Broadway?  To learn of Christ's love and how to live a life of service to others.  To participate in meaningful, thoughtful, moving, worship services rooted in the tradition of the church.  To better understand the liturgical calendar and why we do what we do the way we do it to worship God. To be reminded of how blessed and lucky we are.  So my children can experience the unconditional love of Christ and to learn more about the Bible through the love and joy of committed, enthusiastic Sunday School teachers and through VBS, the children's music ministry, Godly Play, and Children's Worship. To help serve the needy in our area, and to make connections with like-minded, progressive Baptists who do the same. To pray together. To raise my children in a church where they routinely associate their faith with Christ-like love, compassion, forgiveness, and deep questioning.  For an occasional (and necessary!) attitude adjustment.  To worship together with our family.  These are many of the reasons why we love Broadway, and I am thankful for the partnership the church provides in helping our family grow in its faith.
